Timecade gathers every way to keep time in one clean, fullscreen-ready screen: a clock, countdown timer, stopwatch, alarm, Pomodoro focus timer, Tabata intervals and a world clock. Pick a theme, add focus sounds and start — no signup, no clutter.
Frequently asked questions
Is Timecade free?
Yes. Every timer, clock and alarm works for free in your browser, with no signup. An optional account saves your presets and settings across devices.
Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. Timers and alarms are based on the real clock, so they stay accurate in a background tab. Keep the tab open — a closed tab cannot ring.
Can I use Timecade in a classroom?
Yes. The Classroom Timer shows a big, readable countdown with no ads, and you can embed it in Canvas, Google Sites or a slide deck.
Can I install Timecade as an app?
Yes. On iPhone or iPad, open Safari and choose Share → Add to Home Screen. In Chrome or Edge, choose Install app from the menu.
What is the Pomodoro technique?
You work in focused blocks, usually 25 minutes, with a 5-minute break after each and a longer break after four. Timecade runs the cycle for you.
Does it work in fullscreen?
Yes. Press F for fullscreen or B for Big Clock, which makes the time as large as possible — great for a TV, projector or gym wall.
