What we store

You can use every clock, timer and alarm without an account. If you sign in, we store your email address and the settings, presets, alarms, pomodoro projects and session history you create. This data is scoped to your account and used only to power your Timecade experience. Preferences such as theme, motion, hour format and consent choices are kept in your browser's local storage.

Cookies we use

• Necessary — keep you signed in and remember your consent choice. Always active; no consent required.
• Advertising — set by Google and its partners when you accept ads, to serve, measure and (if you allow it) personalise advertising.

You choose in the consent banner the first time you visit, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Advertising & Google AdSense

Timecade is free and funded by advertising. On the free tier we show ads through Google AdSense. Specific things you should know:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Timecade and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
• How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we run Google Consent Mode v2: advertising and measurement storage stay denied until you consent, and ads are non-personalised if you decline.
• A Premium subscription removes ads entirely.

Third-party services

• Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — authentication and database hosting.
• Google AdSense — advertising for free-tier visitors who consent.
• Google Calendar — only if you connect it under Integrations.
• Paddle — payment processing for Premium subscriptions.

Legal basis & retention

We process account data to provide the service you asked for (contract), advertising and analytics data on the basis of your consent, and security logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping Timecade running. Account data is kept until you delete your account; ad cookies expire according to Google's own retention schedules.

Children

Timecade is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Classroom features are intended for teachers and require no student account.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we respond within 30 days. Cached local preferences live in your browser and can be cleared via your browser settings. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.
